When you said you were going to do the second session 4 weeks from this one, does that mean that the hair does not grow much in that time? Because if not then i think this system is worth the buy because anything that lasts longer than a day for me is good lol. My hair grows back quickly and i begin to see hair start to grow the day i shave or the day after. So, my question is, does this stop the hair from growing a normal growth pattern within the first time you use it?

please can anyone tell me what is the difference between 3 settings and 5 settings TRIA. Can we recognise the settings from the TRIA shape, I bought 5 settings TRIA but the one I received has 3 light indicators. why not 5?

Tria works to shed the hair but you have to use it forever, unlike a professional laser treatment where you can stop. Tria is not permanent, you're better to spend your money at a salon or doctors office and get a real laser treatment which is permanent.

Nope, this is only the older model. Newer have those three sensor around the lens.

dosent matter if it's a laser,IPL or electrolysis for which I have tried all. Hair follicle damage is occuring in all treatments. The ? is can someone afford to be treated 100 times for permanent removal? The answer is no. The hair follicle shaft is only so deep and is being damaged all three ways. I had less permanancy with electrolysis then I did with IPL. The woman who treated me over 6 months use to do electrolysis and admitted that it was no more effective then an IPL/laser.

IMO and I speak from a lot of experience with different lasers and IPL's that its the frequency that is the key to permanent hair removal. Whether its the Tria (Laser) or Silk'n (IPL) the hair follicle is being damaged. If you allow the cells to begin to regenerate you will just be shoveling shit against the tide IMO. The hair may grow back in cycles of weeks or months but to destroy the process of cells ever being able to generate you must treat weekly IMO. I will be buying one and will post.

Why dont you try using it on a small patch every week to see if it will work more effectively? They say 6-8 treatments will result in 40-50 permenant reduction. So how bout 30-40 treatments. I went to a laser center and did a small area on stomach (A quarter size) every week for 6 months. I have a very hairy stomach and this area treated was about 90% cleared. That was 5 years ago. it's still that way. I also did the same size and frequesncy on my face (heavy beard) w/the same results.
