Respecto a que hay Mexicanos mal educados concuerdo contigo, pero es obvio que siendo yo Mexicano y conociendo la actitud y temperamento de nuestra gente, creo que es imposible tratar de contenerlos, pero menos voy a tolerar que un gringo venga a hacerlo. A once proud and clean city, Los Angeles is today for the mosty part a complete dump. Dont waste your time here. Venice Beach is wrought with crime and gangsters. Downtown is a filthy row of swap meets and cheap Chinese toy stores. There are diseased and mentally ill homeless people sleeping everywhere and when they are awake they bother you for money. Surrounding area resembles Mexico more than any other place on earth. Its a disgrace.

Just look for some room mates to share the costs until you get yourself settled in. Venice beach and the Culver city area might also be worth checking out. Santa Monica is way too pricey. If you don't mind not being in the heart of LA, but still want the feel I would go with Long Beach, which has its own unique character.

@LuvOrange13 Yes they sell a lot of cosmetics and most of the makeup is sold at a good discount price. It lasts for 2 days and makeup artists go there and teach you stuff. You can buy a ticket to just the exhibit floor which is where they sell the makeup or you can buy a ticket to see the show as well. Obviously the plane ticket is not that cheap but IMATS is held in different places. One in LA, one in Vancouver, one in London and one somewhere else..can't remember.

Aparte que todas estas series, tanto Thundercats como SilverHawks y los Transformers, eran más marketing que otra cosa ( lo único que importaba era vender los juguetes) las moralejas y demás estaban para adornar.

No me lo banco demasiado a Bob Esponja (Es lógico porque me llamo Patricio así que te imaginarás que tengo los huevos al plato de los chistes relacionados con eso) pero comparto totalmente lo que decís. Claro que hay cosas que me parecen una cagada de las series de ahora, Billy y Mandy por ejemplo que por lo que vi era la mayoria chistes boludos de pedos y mocos. Capaz a los pibes les guste pero como humor es una garcha. La cosa es que así como hay mierda ahora, también la hubo antes, y la va a haber después. No vale decir lo que yo veía de chico es mejor sin ver bien lo que hay para ver. Ahi tienen mi opinión, un saludo!!

Hay que ser muy amargo para no reirse con la película cuando lo usan a David Husselhoff de lanchaXD También, muchos amigos tienen a Dragon Ball en la gloria y a mi de chico me encantaba. Pero me acuerdo bien lo deeeenso que era. Y si te sentás a ver la serie ahora, que la pasan en CN de a varios caps, te das cuenta de lo lenta que puede ser. Sin embargo muchos la ven como la mejor serie del mundo y es más que nada por la nostalgia. En todo caso el manga de DB se deja leer más tranquilo.

La gente se deja llevar MUCHO por la nostalgia, y por un lado es normal porque les recuerda a una buena época y las cosas que disfrutaban. La cagada es que después se la agarran con las series de ahora y no es justo. Pero pasa con todas las generaciones. Yo también soy un tipo que vió dibujos toda la vida y no solo de chico. No sé porque todo el mundo se la agarra con Bob Esponja. Si, es una serie boluda sin mensajes ni moralejas ( la mayoria de las veces), pero aún asi es graciosa.

Bueno lo looney toons, sobre todo los mas viejos, están realmente muy bien, tambien los cartoons clasicos de Tex Avery. Ya los de Hanna Barbera empiezan a ser de dudosa calidad, todos repetian la misma formula y dentro de eso ponele que Yogi zafaba un poco más que Manotas, Maguila Gorila o Los osos reboltosos, pero posta que no es muy defendible, siquiera para la época (Si me decís los Picapiedra todavia, la animacion era horrible pero era un golazo como concepto).

Al menos yo conoci mas de 10 niños que eran fans de JLA y claro que despues de TC hubo buenas cosas y que como todo show en la tierra un dia tenian que terminar. SI para mi JLA a sido de lo mejor que emos tenido ultimamente ya que contenia elementos necesarios para que fuera un show que se pudiera disfrutar por niños y adultos Esto asi sera siempre. Mi padre aun defiende a los looney toons y al oso Yogih cuando yo hablo de los TC y los Halcones galacticos. Anime es otro mundo viejo ;-)

Thundercats era algo más bien infantil, en cambio para mi JLA no, al ser cartoon lo pueden ver los niños (?) pero no era la onda, no tenian un Snarf metiendo gags 2 x 3, o protagonistas niños como los "felinos" para que se identifiquen. Sino te digo que los nuevos de Futurama le hacen el culo a Thundercats y JLA juntos, pero no es para niños. ¿De animé ni hablar, no?

No digo que todo tiene que ser hombres musculosos como tu cres.. lo que digo es que antes teniamos mas opciones y hoy todo es animacion boba y con poco mensaje para los niños que es a quien van dirigidos todos estos shows.
