The part where the dad tells his little girl to "Turn to him the other cheek also" then tells her brother to hit her does not know what Jesus meant when He said that during the sermon on the Mount. What Jesus meant is to demand respect and not allow anyone to abuse you if he knew Jewish customs he would know that's what it means. I like this movie allot but if you don't know God you will come out of it wondering how God could be so cruel because this movie leads you to believe He is.

This is one of my favorite movies BUT this trailer isnt good. The 21Gramms that a human loose are not the main theme in this movie. Its more than that its bout how people are connected to each other. The earliest Laugh-o-Grams (Or so I can figure) focusing of course on the studio's home in Kansas City. I can't tell if the animator in this one is Disney himself or one of his all-star lineup he had at this point. For simplicity's sake let's just smile, nod and say it's him.

It's amazing that although Laugh-O-Gram Studio went nowhere, several of the people who worked there would become animation legends. Disney and Iwerks created the Alice Comedies and later Oswald before become widely known for Mickey Mouse, Harman and Ising started the Looney Tunes, for which Freleng created characters for, including Porky Pig and Bugs Bunny. It's a shame that nowadays everything these guys did is forgotten, even by the companies that used to make a profit off of their work.

I read that Rudy Ising helped with this. Walt would draw it with blue pencil, then Isig would trace it with black ink. Then, they'd film Walt tracing the inked pictures, then do a camera trick that makes it look like he's drawing it fast.
