Im happy, I did my own research and yes its the truth, MAC is giving out a bunch of free makeup but not for much longer. =) I found out about it on MAC Makeups facebook site. The oil in the lip gloss is pronounced "hohoba" wierd right? we use the same oil for my massage technician class, and yes it is slippery. It's suppose to be close to the same consistency of the natural oil of our skin, so its very skin friendly!

Yes MAC is expensive in the US. Since you are so young, stick with drugstore/pharmacy cosmetics first before spending money on more expensive brands. I didn't wear anything but just lip gloss for years, at 16 I started to wear mascara.

The reason MAC is so out there is that they have a great marketing stragety. People buy what their friends use and what is popular, not what is good for them, or actually a good product. I wouldn't sell a kidney for MAC products, but every once in a while it's nice. Especially since a lot of drugstore makeup can be almost the same price. I mean, you buy foundation for $20 in a drugstore or a MAC one that is bigger for $31. Not that much of a difference. The only thing I find 'overpriced' are their pigments.
